About
ABOUT ME
I serve clients as a supportive mentor to achieve better health through motivation, education, nutrition and other lifestyle factors that impact health. I also collaborate with healthcare providers to help their patients implement diet and lifestyle recommendations.
I have been cooking since I was a young child. My Italian Grandmother taught me how to make traditional Pesto Genovese with a mortar and pestle, Pizza from scratch, and Peach Pie with homegrown fruit. Some of my other mentors include Chefs Jacques Pepin, Julia Child, Jamie Oliver, Rick Bayless, and Martha Stewart who have shared their wisdom and passion for cooking on television and videos.
Having lived in California all my life, my culinary philosophy is based on fresh, locally grown, organic and sustainable ingredients.
I teach private cooking classes or demos and am a former Chef Instructor at Kitchen On Fire cooking school in Berkeley & Oakland, CA and also taught classes at Piedmont Adult School & for the City of Albany.
I love being creative, cooking, in nature, and being with my Yoga community.
Working together, we will co-create a personalized plan to move you toward your ideal vision of health.
